Facade & ACP Cleaning
Facade &
ACP cleaning
Aluminium composite panel, glass panel and building facade cleaning — restoring a frontage dulled by weather, exhaust and airborne grime, with the signage cleaned in the same visit.
ACP cladding looks sharp on handover and then quietly fades. Rain streaks down the panel joints, exhaust film settles on the face, algae takes hold on the shaded elevations — and within a couple of years a well-run business looks neglected from the street.
Cleaning it is not just pressure washing. Harsh chemicals and abrasive pads strip the panel coating and leave the facade worse than before. We assess the panel type and finish first, then clean with a method matched to the coating.
On site
Most of a commercial frontage cannot be reached from the ground. Our crews work the elevation by rope access, cleaning panel by panel from the top down so dirty run-off never lands on a section already finished.
The panel coating decides the method. We check the finish first, then clean accordingly — harsh chemicals and abrasive pads strip the coating and leave the facade looking worse than before it was touched.
What we clean
ACP panel cleaning
Aluminium composite panel cleaning and finish restoration, matched to the panel coating rather than a one-method-fits-all wash.
Glass panel & curtain wall washing
Glazing, curtain wall and shopfront glass washed down — water marks, dust film and post-construction residue removed so the glass reads clear again.
Facade & cladding wash
Full building frontage — cladding, canopies, entrance features and column wraps.
Signage cleaning & refresh
Signboards, lightboxes and channel letters cleaned, and refaced if the acrylic or vinyl has faded.
Post-construction clean
Removing protective film residue, cement splash and site grime from newly installed cladding before handover.
Scheduled maintenance
Periodic cleaning for retail chains and commercial buildings, so the frontage stays presentable year round.
Multi-outlet programmes
The same specification applied across every branch, on one schedule and one point of contact.
High-level access
Rope access crews for multi-storey elevations, reaching panels that cannot be worked from ground level or a boom lift.
Why clean it with the signmaker
Most facade cleaners do not touch signage, and most signmakers do not clean facades — so a tired frontage becomes two separate jobs, two quotes and two visits. We fabricate and install signage, so the facade clean and the sign refresh happen together. If the signboard turns out to need refacing rather than cleaning, we can do that too, on the same visit.
Questions
Facade cleaning questions
Do you clean ACP cladding?
Yes. Aluminium composite panel cleaning is one of our services. ACP looks sharp on handover but dulls over time from rain streaking, exhaust film and algae. We clean and restore the panel finish using methods matched to the coating, rather than aggressive scrubbing that can damage it.
How often should a building facade be cleaned?
It depends on the location. A frontage on a busy road with heavy traffic picks up exhaust film far faster than a building set back from the street. Many commercial buildings and retail chains schedule a clean once or twice a year to keep the frontage presentable.
Can you clean the signage at the same time?
Yes, and it usually makes sense to. Because we also fabricate and install signage, we can clean or reface signboards, lightboxes and channel letters while the facade is being worked on — one visit and one contractor instead of two.
Do you handle high-rise facades?
Yes. Our crews work multi-storey elevations by rope access, reaching panels that cannot be cleaned from ground level or a boom lift. Tell us the height and frontage type and we will confirm the access method at site survey before quoting.
Do you wash glass panels and curtain walls too?
Yes. Glazing, curtain wall and shopfront glass are washed down alongside the cladding — removing water marks, dust film and post-construction residue. Doing the glass and the panels in one visit costs less than bringing access equipment or rope crews back a second time.
Will cleaning damage the panel coating?
Not when the method matches the finish. The risk with ACP comes from harsh chemicals and abrasive pads that strip the coating and leave the panel looking worse. We assess the panel type first and clean accordingly.
